We had a very disappointing experience with this dental office. Before my husband’s cleaning, they clearly told him that the procedure was covered by his insurance and that there would be no out-of-pocket cost. However, three months later, we received a bill for $240. When we called to ask why, they claimed that my husband did not have this office assigned as his primary dentist, which is simply not true. We confirmed that he was properly assigned. Please be very careful with this office. They assure patients that procedures are covered and then send unexpected bills months later. We feel misled and taken advantage of. Patients deserve honest and transparent information about costs before receiving treatment.

Be careful, this dental office is full of scam. I went in for a regular cleaning since Medicare covered free cleaning. However, I ended up paying copayments before procedures $200 and more on the payment plans, total near $3000. Two years later they still billed me for a balance due of $350. They said insurance denied the claim. They were the ones told me how much I had to pay and offered a payment plan. And it’s still not enough.

Coast Dental is amazing! The staff is awesome! They always make me laugh and make me feel comfortable. Dr.Dacasta is the best along with his dental assistant! They both make me feel very comfortable. Josie is amazing! She has always made me smile from day one. She's always looking out for me and always showing me love when I'm there ❤️ Sam is so sweet, kind, and helpful! Everyone I have encountered there has been so awesome 😎 if I could give them 1000 🌟✨⭐ I would!!!!!

I called 25 different damages and they wouldn't take my insurance but I didn't do implants or they didn't pull teeth so what you doing I have the insurance company find me a dentist they found me coastal dental which I found out was one of the best dentists around and when you and it's got done with me I felt great and I can smile again thank you Coast dental👍

Do not recommend unless you are ok with unprofessional management, office workflow and spending 2.5hours to get a cleaning. Took my boys for a 2pm appointments One scheduled with Dr May & the other with Dr Dacosta. After an hour and 10 minutes was advised that "the doctor went to lunch" and i would need to use telehealth in order for them to get a cleaning. I reluctantly agreed as i had already wasted over an hour in office. I was brought to another room for the telehealth and it took another 20 minutes for them to figure it out. The woman who was assisting to get the telehealth set up did not introduce herself despite hearing ny frustrations but she turned out to be the office manager, Nilsa B. I only found this out when I asked who the office manager was. She then told me she hadn't come to talk to me because she was in a meeting amd wasn't aware of situaton until now. When I asked if both doctors went to lunch. She said no that Dr May was always scheduled to leave at 2pm. So my son was scheduled with a doctor who was known to be out of office? No accountability. As a medical manager myself I can assure you this situation was handled very poorly by upper management. The saving
